How big are the groups?
Our group size will range from 8 to 16 people depending on the destination and format. For our trips that require a smaller, intimate group such as a photography workshop, we will limit the number of participants to 8 to 10.
What is your booking, deposit and cancellation policy?
A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 USD is needed to confirm the booking on each trip. Full payment for the trip (the remaining balance) is due 30 days before departure. Electrify Getaways does not offer cash/check or credit card refunds for any reason. A portion of your payment may be used as credit for another retreat within one year of your original retreat date. Please visit our Terms & Conditions page for a full breakdown of our cancellation policy.
What is included in the price?
Depending on the experience, what is included will vary. Typically, each trip includes airport transportation (to and from), an expert local guide, day-by-day experiences and activities, meals, and ground transportation. Please visit individual trip pages for a full breakdown of what is included.
What's not included in the price?
International airfare, incidental expenses, gratuities, travel insurance, excess baggage fees, some meals, airport taxes and country entrance fees.
Do you have payment plans available?
Yes! Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss a payment plan that is suited to your needs to cover your trip.
Do I have to get travel insurance?
We consider adequate travel insurance to be essential. You must give details in writing of your incurrence policy (insurer, policy number, 24 hour emergency assistance contact details). We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance through your travel agent, or visit World Nomads to compare insurers. We also encourage you to include flight insurance when booking your flights.
Do I have to get a visa?
Yes, you are responsible for obtaining a visa if needed and covering any visa fees as necessary. We will let you know if a visa is required for your destination and you will be responsible for covering any entrance or exit fees.
